Hello readers and welcome to a new blog made by Mansión De Chocolate. Today we are going to talk about traveling in Nicaragua places you really should visit! We are going to talk about the Caribbean coast and the islands of Nicaragua, Bluefields and the Corn Islands. The Caribbean is a beautiful blue sea and totally worth to visit.
Bluefields is the capital of the RACS (South Caribbean Autonomous Region). Bluefields is named after the Dutch pirate Abraham Blauvelt. Bluefields is Nicaragua’s chief Caribbean port, from which hardwood, seafood, shrimp and lobster are exported.
The Corn Islands exists of big Corn island and little Corn island. they are located east of the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. The big Corn island has an area of 10 square meters and the little Corn island 2,9 square meters.

How to get there?
First of
all you need to get to the airport of Managua, from here on out there are
different planes leaving to Bluefields and the Corn Islands. Roundtrip tickets
to Corn Island cost approximately $165.00 USD and takes about 1,5 hour to get
there. You can choose to fly directly to Corn Islands or stay in Bluefields
explore Bluefields and after that take a boat to the Corn Islands. With the boat
coasts about C$210 and takes 5 hours.

What Activities can i do?

Bluefields
is a small town with a harbor that connects to beautiful places in the Caribbean
like Pearl
Lagoon, the spectacular Pearl Keys and the beautiful Corn islands. The city was once full of old wood
Victorian charm before Category IV Hurricane Juana wiped it off the map in
1988. people tend to not stay here for very long but it is worth to have a look at the town and take a boat on the beautiful waters to different places.

Big Corn Island
Big Corn
Island is the biggest of the 2 islands located at the shore of Nicaragua. There
are a lot of different activities you can do. You can discover both islands on
the back of a horse you can arrange guided trips.
You can
take yoga classes with beautiful and relaxing views. On Sundays you can visit
baseball games at the stadium of Big Corn island. It is possible to go fishing
diving and snorkeling on both islands. And of course don’t miss all the
delicious food the Corn islands offer. Visit the soul of the world. The sculptural work,
properly speaking, consists in the excavation or "discovery" of the
eight corners or Vertices of this imaginary inner Cube.
Spanish Galleon: Visit a 400-year-old wreck of a Spanish Galleon
by snorkel, dive or glass bottom boat excursion. The wreck lays in 15' of water
off of Waula Point, Big Corn Island. Clearly visible are 14 cannons and the
original anchor. No known archaeological
survey or salvaging has ever been done on this wreck.

Little Corn Island
Home to around 800 people speaking Creole English and Spanish, this is one of the most friendly places you're likely to find, with a real sense of community and people willing to talk with you and share their experiences, as well as help you out.
Fishing, in particular for lobster has long been the mainstay of the island, but in recent years tourism is also playing a larger part in the island economy.
the nearest bank, and ATM, are on Big Corn Island, so come prepared with cash, although an increasing number of businesses now accept credit cards, but check in advance to avoid having to make a trip back to the Big Island to top up your funds.
Like in the Big Corn Island you can get your diving license furthermore you can Kayak, snorkel, kitesurf, fish, yoga, paddle boarding, massage and go horseback riding.
